Banana Peanut Butter Toast

I have added a new recipe to my breakfast rotation, especially when I could use a boost of protein in the morning. Just three ingredients (four if you add honey – too sweet for me), simple to make and it’s good for you. This special toast will fill you up and last a long time!

Be sure to eat this with a cold glass of milk…

Banana Peanut Butter Toast

  • small bananas
  • peanut butter of your choice (I like these small “to go” containers – one is enough for 2-3 slices of bread
  • 1 tbsp. of honey per slice drizzled (optional – too sweet for me or you could use maple syrup instead) how about some jelly as an alternative to the honey?
  • bread of your choice (I prefer live carb smart wheat bread)
  • glass of cold milk (I drink skim)

Toast your bread and spread a thin layer over the still warm toast. Slice your banana and spread over the peanut butter. Pour yourself a glass of milk and enjoy!

  1. Peanut butter on post is one of my favorite ways to start the day. I’m sure that added banana ups the tasty breakfast.
