Weight Watcher’s Asian Sesame Noodles

This  dish has a light and nutty sauce.  I prefer  to serve it at room temperature but you can serve it cold.   Very good  with a little bread or perhaps a salad… See also Peanut Butter Noodle Salad. See also Peanut Soba Noodles.

Weight Watcher’s Cheese Sauce Two Ways

Use this sauce on any vegetables you like – only 2 points per 3 tablespoons.  The second recipe uses Gruyere cheese (or any Swiss cheese) and I do not have the points value but I am sure it is about the same as the first recipe. Grilled Ham Slices Three Ways

In the hot summer months I like to cook just about anything I can on the grill.  Grilling 1 to 1-1/2 pound ham slices is a quick way to have something good for dinner.  You can also cook these inside on a grill pan or broil in the oven.  Two of the glazes are Weight … Continue reading

Romaine Wedges with a Tangy Blue Cheese Vinaigrette Two Ways

What a great salad and so simple to make.  Be sure to use a good quality blue cheese such as Maytag for the best results which was a favorite of Gene’s.  I have included a Weight Watcher’s recipe as well – not bad but there is a difference between the two.

Chicken with Balsamic Vinegar and Sweet Onions

A Weight Watcher’s recipe with three of my favorite ingredients; balsamic vinegar, onions and thyme.  Delicious together and another recipe that I have changed just a little.  After eating some Krispy Kreme Monkey Bread for breakfast yesterday I needed to be careful of what I had for dinner!

Grouper Sandwich with Chipotle Tartar Sauce

My husband Gene enjoyed this sandwich at the Beach Walk Inn  in Destin, Florida.   I have adapted Chef Tim Creehan’s recipe to my taste.  I have also included a Weight Watcher’s recipe for pan fried fish. Chipotle Tartar Sauce: 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise 1/4 cup finely chopped celery 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion 1/4 cup pickle … Continue reading

Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges Five Ways

A tasty side dish to serve with ham and two of the recipes are Weight Watcher’s and the third is from Taste of Home. A third recipe I just found 2-20-13 in a Taste of Home magazine sounds great that has a chili mayo sauce:
