I always like to make something new for Halloween and this year it is a simple bark. This is one of the easiest desserts you can make and it is also a great one to make with kids. You take care of melting the chocolate and they can decorate.

Halloween Bark with Milk and White Chocolate
- two 4 (oz.) semi-sweet milk chocolate bars, chopped (I used Ghiradelli – the bars melt better than chips)
- two 4 (oz.) white chocolate bars, chopped (I used Ghiradelli)
- Lots of Halloween sprinkles: I used black and white skeleton faces, bones, ghosts, purple witches hats, jack-o-lanterns, eyes and sprinkles in various colors
- Autumn Harvest Mellowcremes (includes pumpkins and two color variations of candy corn)
Melt both chocolates, either in the microwave or in a double boiler. If you melt the chocolate in microwave do it in 20 second intervals. As you stir the chocolate will continue to melt.
Spread out the milk chocolate first on a parchment lined baking sheet or a silicone baking mat. Then swirl in the white chocolate – I did not use all of the white. You could probably get by with only 4 oz.
Scatter your sprinkles, etc. all over. Place in the refrigerator to totally harden before breaking it apart into pieces.

So creative and tasty! 🙂
🙂
Judi, that’s one scary-looking chocolate you made there, and yummy as well I think.
I love your skelciutto skeleton…
I liked the “skelciutto skeleton” too. The whole skeleton was covered in prosciutto and is perfect for a Halloween charcuterie board 🙂
love the halloween bowl with the skeleton and your halloween bark. A great idea.
