This is such an easy way to cook these vegies on the grill – just 15 minutes and you have a great side dish. Do not cook too long!
Cauliflower, Broccoli and Red Onions on the Grill
- fresh broccoli florets
- fresh cauliflower florets
- wedges of red onion
- Butter flavored spray or an oil spray
- garlic powder, paprika and black pepper to taste
Place vegetables on a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Spray the vegies with a butter flavored or oil spray. Give a dash or two or three of garlic powder and paprika to taste. Feel free to use any other combination of seasonings that you like. Fresh herbs are great if they are available. Also, other vegetables work well too, such as zucchini or asparagus.
Fold foil around the vegetables and seal tightly. In a preheated electric grill cook the vegies for 15 minutes on high without turning. They turn out perfect on my grill – I like them a little crisp. Adjust cooking times to the type of grill you have.
