This is a quick, easy vegetable to fix in the microwave. You dress it up a little with Good Seasons Italian Dressing, some cheese and maybe add a little heat with some crushed red pepper. I have included a Weight Watcher’s version where you can see the importance of measuring.
Cauliflower and Broccoli Italian Style
- cauliflower and/or broccoli florets
- Good Seasons Italian Dressing
- sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
In a microwave bowl add the florets in a little bit of water. Cover with saran wrap with a few holes poked in it. Microwave per instructions for vegetables. Drain and place in a bowl; add some Italian Dressing and sprinkle with cheese and red pepper if desired. Toss lightly to help melt the cheese and serve.

WW Cauliflower and Broccoli Italian Style
- 6 cups of cauliflower and/or broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp. fat-free prepared Italian dressing
- 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, shaved
- 1/4 tsp.crushed red pepper
