If you like poached fish (especially salmon) this is a gadget you should have in your kitchen.  Ours gets used a lot to poach salmon to put in a salad or as a main dish.  However, if you do not want to invest in a fish poacher you can always poach your salmon in the oven.  See post Poached Salmon.
