Fresh fruit of the season has a little added flavor with this dressing poured over it. The lemon juice will help keep the color should you add bananas or apples and the cranberry juice adds a nice tartness.
Fruit Salad with a Cranberry Juice and Honey Dressing
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 5 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
Let garlic stand in lemon juice at room temperature for 2 hours; remove garlic cloves. Add remaining ingredients to lemon juice and blend well. Refrigerate and pour over fruit prior to serving.
