I usually have these three fruits frozen on hand so, in Midwest Living Taste of Summer 2015 I was able to make these recently. Just delicious…
Strawberry, Banana and Mango Smoothies, Adapted
- enough milk to get the right consistency (I used skim) I also like almond milk original unsweetened or sweetened (if using sweetened don’t add any honey)
- banana frozen, sliced (versus fresh on the counter)
- honey to taste
- frozen unsweetened strawberries
- frozen mangoes
- plain Greek yogurt (optional – to taste)
- fresh strawberries to garnish
Add all of the ingredients and pulse (I have a smoothie button on my blender) until mixed. Pour into glasses, garnish with some fresh fruit. Use a combo spoon/straw and enjoy!
