This is a good, Tex Mex dip with spinach that is baked. A quick and easy appetizer with ingredients you probably have on hand (at least I usually do).
Tex Mex Spinach Cheese Dip
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) jar of your favorite salsa (I use Frog Ranch mild salsa)
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (I would use a little less and I like to chop it up some)
- 2 cups (8 oz.) Mexican cheese blend, shredded, divided (or any cheese)
Combine the cream cheese, salsa, spinach and 1 cup of the Mexican cheese. Spread into an ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for about 20 minutes or until heated through. Serve with tortilla chips.
