Among all of the recipes I have yet to post I saw this beer recipe with only 3 ingredients, all of which I had on hand. I made no comments like I frequently do so I decided it was worth trying – I mean beer in bread? Why not though as it has yeast and there is lots of sugar, two essential ingredients in bread making.
Beer Dinner Rolls
- 4 cups Bisquick
- 5 tbsp. sugar
- 12 oz. cold beer (I used Miller Lite)
Combine Bisquick and sugar; gradually add the cold beer. Place in a 12 cup, greased muffin tin. Oops, I should have used my bigger muffin tins as these rolls do definitely rise as they bake. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes, or until browned.
Be sure to use a muffin tin with big enough wells!

Comment: These rolls really turned out nice and light with a great flavor, they rose perfectly and there was no taste or smell of any yeast. Opposite of what my Refrigerator Dinner Rolls taste like.

I can’t wait to try this recipe!
The rolls are good – and the ingredients are something you can always have on hand!
