Cinnamon Glazed Almonds

I found all these raw whole almonds in my freezer (forgot the recipe I bought them for) and was looking for a way to use them. Perfect – cinnamon glazed almonds to the rescue! They are not too sweet (like some recipes) and very tasty!

love to serve flavored nuts around the holidays and include them on a cheese and or fruit platter or charcuterie board with sliced meats, fruits, dips and crackers. They also make a great gift or as a thank you to a hostess. Cinnamon Glazed Almonds

  • 1 cup raw whole almonds
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper that you’ve sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.

While the oven is preheating combine all of the ingredients in a large  skillet and cook until almonds are lightly toasted and well-coated stirring occasionally. Most of the liquid should be absorbed by the almonds.

Spread almonds in a single layer on parchment lined baking sheet. Be sure to separate them from each other. Bake 8 minutes, remove from the oven and loosen any nut that is stuck to the parchment. Cook another 8 minutes or until the coating is dry.

Delicious to snack on or give away to friends and family. I especially like these almonds because they are not too sweet.
