Doesn’t this sound good for breakfast or brunch? I’ve made a chocolate bark before but the idea of using yogurt flavored with maple syrup as the base just sounded real good.
The first snow flakes of winter in southern Michigan… oh and my yogurt fruit bark.
This recipe is slightly adapted from geniuskitchen.com.
Maple Flavored Yogurt Fruit Bark
- 12 oz. Greek vanilla yogurt
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- fruits of your choice, I used fresh strawberries and kiwis
- 1/4 cup granola
Line a 1/4 sheet pan (which is 9×13-inches – I did use a 8×11-inch pan) with parchment paper. Combine the maple syrup and yogurt well; spread out over the parchment.
I sliced my strawberries and kiwis into thin slices and cut in half if needed. Place on top of the yogurt and sprinkle with the granola.
Freeze the bark overnight to serve with breakfast the next morning.
When ready to serve, break into pieces. Keep any leftovers in the freezer, but it will not keep long as the fruit will dry out.

What a festive looking bark, Judi! Looks beautiful and yummy!
Thanks Sandhya – simple and just a few ingredients. We really enjoyed it – add the fruit of your choice 🙂
I love visiting you Judi! You show us such beautiful and different recipes! This is gorgeous!
Thanks so much Lynn for your really nice comment. I read a lot of cookbooks and magazines – then of course I get emails and then the internet. There is always something fun to make 🙂
Oh yes I am sure!
Loved your recipe 🙂
Thank you!
This is such a great idea for breakfast! I’m now thinking about other fruits as well. 🙂
Thanks Ronit – it’s a nice breakfast treat and the yogurt does start to melt with the warmth of your fingers. Just break into smaller pieces. I went with fruit I could slice thin but any fruit would work 🙂
Judy, this looks like a great healthy Christmas treat!😃
Thanks Mary – it is healthy and the yogurt bark is good 🙂
Kiwi and strawberries make a perfect combo when it comes to flavours, as well as colours!
Holiday colors 🙂
That is almost too pretty to eat! Gorgeous. You could make that in the summer, too!
Love this idea!
