How do you keep your fresh fish from sticking to your grill?
- citrus fruit such as oranges, limes or lemons
Place a few thin slices of your fruit on the grill. Use whatever best complements the flavor of the fish you are grilling. You will sacrifice the grill marks; however you will get extra flavor from the fruit and the fish will not stick. You can also use this method if you are baking or broiling some fish in your oven.
Recently when I broiled some rainbow trout in the oven I first sprayed the pan then I put lime slices under the fish. Turned out perfect – the fish and the limes did not stick!
