Santa Bread with Veggie Dip

You do need a special pan for this which you can purchase through Wilton Products or at your baking store.  Very cute and festive!

Santa Bread with Veggie Dip

  • 2 pkg. hot roll mix
  • vegetable dip of your choice
  • cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cherry tomato for nose and mouth
  • black olives for eyes
  • cauliflower for pompom on Santa’s hat

Grease Santa pan with vegetable shortening.  Prepare 2 packages of hot roll mix.  Press into pan and bake according to package directions.

Place bread on large platter big enough to hold Santa bread and vegetables around it.  Scoop out Santa’s beard area; reserve bread for dipping.

Use spatula to spread softened cream cheese moustache and eyebrows.  Position 1/2 of a cherry tomato for the nose, black olive eyes.

Spread cream cheese on pompom area of hat and position cauliflower.  Cut a small piece of tomato for the mouth.  Fill beard with dip (see my recipe Vegetable Dip) and surround Santa with vegetables.
