There are 2 veggie dips that I like to make, one that I have been making for a very long time and a new one that has more ingredients, flavor and is good spread on crackers.
Vegetable Dip
- 1 cup Hellmanns mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream (Fage 0% milkfat is good too and a little thicker)
- 1 tsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. seasoning salt (I used 1/2 tsp.)
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. minced dried onion
Combine above ingredients and chill until ready to serve.
Zesty Veggie Dip
- 1 cup Hellmanns
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream (could use Fage 0% milkfat)
- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
- 1 tbsp. minced dried onion
- 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients and chill. Serve with prepared vegetables or crackers.
