This smoothie is a great way to start your day and also is kid-friendly. I mean who does not enjoy chocolate milk! It is a Weight Watcher’s recipe that I have tweaked, instead of fat-free chocolate milk I substituted unsweetened almond chocolate milk and also I used almond peanut butter. This is a favorite!
WW Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Banana Smoothie
- 1 medium frozen banana, cut into slices
- 1 cups ice cubes, crushed
- 2 cups unsweetened almond chocolate milk
- 2 tbsp. Justin’s almond peanut butter
Crush the ice cubes in a blender or if you have an ice crusher (mine is electric and super nice to have for certain drinks). Combine the crushed ice, frozen banana slices, almond milk and peanut butter in a blender; process until smooth.
Serves 4 and has a points value of 4 per 1 cup
This is the Waring ice crusher “Joy the Baker” uses. I follow her blog and it is always fun to see something that you have and is endorsed/used by a fellow blogger, especially a famous one!

This looks like a satisfying and delicious way to start the day, Judi! Being a huge fan of Reeses peanut butter cups, I bet I’d absolutely love the flavors in this glass! 😛
You and me both with Reeses cups – my favorite 🙂 I will be posting a bunch of drafts that I have had for awhile so please do not feel like you need to comment as I just need to post a few recipes every week to clean up. I do appreciate it Nancy as you are always so good about that and with such kind comments 🙂
😀 I never feel like I “have” to comment, Judi. The recipes you share do the talking…what can I say? The recipes make me do it!
Thanks Nancy – normally I only post 1 or 2 recipes a week but this week I posted 4 and then FF tomorrow. Then next week… I just do not want to overwhelm people, but these drafts have been driving me crazy 🙂 🙂
This looks wonderful! What a healthy and delicious smoothie!
Thanks Sarah as it is very good I always have the ingredients 🙂
This sounds fabulous Aunt juju. .. awesome teaming. .. 🙂 🙂
WW has some great recipes Chitra 🙂
I have never bought chocolate almond milk, but use the original all the time! I’ll have to get exploring! This would make a wonderful meal or snack.
You will like the chocolate Julie – I keep looking for ways to use it 🙂
Mmmm! My kind of breakfast! 😀
Mine too – simple but good 🙂
