I could not resist posting one recipe for Christmas (even though I said I was taking the rest of the year off). This recipe is so simple and a great project for the kids, it does not take much time and best of all these little morsels are so delicious. So, make a bunch as these go quickly. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Bites
- Rolo candies (chocolate covered caramels)
- M&M chocolate kisses (any flavor)
- M&M candies (could use M&M chocolate covered peanuts)
- tiny twists pretzels
- pecan halves
- sprinkles
Preheat your oven to 275°F. On a parchment lined baking pan spread out your pretzels. I found it is best to bake the rolo candies and chocolate kisses separately as the kisses melt faster. Place a Rolo or M&M kiss on each pretzel. Bake the Rolos for 3 minutes and the kisses for 2 minutes.
Remove from the oven and quickly place an M&M on top of each candy or perhaps a pecan half or chocolate covered M&M peanuts and press slightly to embed the candy. Refrigerate until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy…
