For making my recipe Pesto under the Sauces category, I always use my food processor.  It is extremely handy for a number of dishes I make.  I have 3 sizes – you can see from the picture the smallest bowl is a little discolored – I use it more than the other two.  The large one is a Kitchen-Aid and the two smaller ones are Cuisinart.  Anyways, everyone should have one or two of these, a larger one for big jobs such as pesto and a smaller one for mini prep jobs.
