Orange Julius Two Ways

This is a refreshing, frothy  drink to serve with breakfast or brunch.  I have 2 different recipes to share.  One  uses Tang and the second is a Weight Watcher’s version.  Both are good and very similar – I do not have a favorite.

Orange Julius with Tang

Orange Julius with Tang:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk (I use skim or 2%)
  • 1/2 cup orange breakfast drink or Tang (it is a powder)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (I use less)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 10 to 12 ice cubes, crushed

Process all ingredients in a blender until well combined.

WW Orange Juicy

Weight Watcher’s Orange Juicy:

  • 1 (6 oz.) can thawed orange juice concentrate, undiluted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk (I use skim or 2%)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 10 to 12 ice cubes

Combine first 5 ingredients and enough ice cubes to blender to bring mixture to a 6-cup level.  Process until smooth.

Serves 4 with a points value of 4 per serving
