I use to make two bushels of applesauce every year and this gadget was a must have to process all of those apples.  I still use it, but now I only make about 1/2 bushel to 1 bushel a year.

It is a true workhorse not only for processing applesauce, but tomatoes, fruit or vegetable purees and juices.  So, if you have a big garden or make large quantities of certain things this gadget is a ‘good thing’ to have in your kitchen.  We use to can our own Bloody Mary Mix and we processed tons of tomatoes.
