Orange, Banana and Strawberry Smoothie

I love smoothies and I am always looking for recipes where I usually have the ingredients on hand. This  tasty beverage comes from Ina Garten who never fails me with any of her recipes.

Orange, Banana and Strawberry Smoothie

  • 1-1/2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup strawberries, stem removed and chopped
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced

Combine above ingredients in a blender and chill. Just perfect for breakfast or brunch. No fancy ingredients, just healthy fruit to get your morning off to a good start.

I am bringing this smoothie full of great fruits to Fiesta Friday #90. A very simple recipe but one most people will like. I have not had access to my computer for the past week as it was being repaired, cleaned up, new hard drive, and so on. I sure did miss it!!! It appears to be running great now and I will keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Please come party with Angie, our gracious host, and the two co-hosts this week Effie and Lindy.

  1. Never tried this combination of fruits Judi. You have not added any sugar to it making it a guilt free smoothie totally 🙂

  2. It’s really hard to beat a good smoothie, isn’t it?!
I hope your computer stays trouble-free now. It’s so hard to live without a computer and cell-phone now that we’re all hooked. Fingers crossed.
Happy belated Fiesta Friday. I do love a party!

    • Thanks – smoothies are always good. I like this one because it just has fruit – no sugar, dairy products or such. Yes, it was a big inconvenience not having my computer – my life revolves around it – all my accounts, food blog, etc. Happy Fiesta Friday to you 🙂

  3. The Barefoot Contessa never fails us! These are great, Aunt JuJu, strawberry banana smoothies with add-ins are my go-to smoothies. Thanks so much for sharing with FF#90 🙂
